neat
this was really neat. everything was real clean looking, but not much in the ways of animation. maybe just work on your stuff looking a little more fluid and realistic when it is moving, ok? think physics. sorry for the 6

Thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it.
short
did you know there is an i in animator? it looks like ANIMATIOR, just wondering if that's how it's supposed to be in the opening credits.
Thanks for pointing it out, it's a typo.
we know
we all know how the voting system works. telling people how to vote is against the rules. it is what it is. i'm glad you drew this up yourself, and i'm glad it took you 2 days, but if you look at my hacky sack and ola contest entries, they both are 2 day animations, and you can really see the difference. shape tweens are cheating, and your characters' mouths move in a very non smoothe fashion. i'm afraid you're gonna need plenty of practice before submitting anything worthwhile. good luck bud, and sorry for the low score.
How is shape tweening againts the rules tho?!?!?
well
your frame by frame could use some work, but this is pretty cool, and a cool idea. i really like the backgrounds. the appartments where Dr. Mario lives are very cool looking.
that was a unique perspective, originally it was supposed to be the hospital where he worked.
this is cool
this is cool, but dont put christmas music to non christmas stuff. also, this is less than 30 seconds. the quality of claymation was awesome, but you should spend more time on it (i know it takes time to do that stuff, but this could go on) upload a more elaborate version where more happens, ok? sorry for the 6
I could, but to be honest, i just finished this earlier on Christmas Eve NIGHT. I might maybe, but to be honest right now i just feel like leaving it as it is.
wow
that's a morbid way to get your point accross i suppose. i would like to assume that you are in good shape :P
Yea, my intention of drawing this clip is to provide a answer to a question I had since I am a child : why santa never visit me at all. So probably this is the reason? Hmm. hehe, I am in good shape ( i think.. : )
Just want try something diff. thanks for the score!
dang
everytime! sketched is definately one of my fav series on NG. man, i was hopin for the daily 5th, but my cartoon didnt have the material worthy :D and if i'm up against this, it's no wonder. congrats on daily second place!!! you earned it :D
Thanks for the review. I actually watched your short this morning and I really enjoyed it. I'll leave my actual review over on your short, but I did enjoy it.
It is always tough submitting your material on NG because great stuff is constantly being submitted and it's real easy for quality material to get snubbed. Not to mention the stress that comes with the combination of a voting system and the fact that the internet isn't exactly known for harboring the nicest people in the world, so it always makes me happy to see artists working together and honestly appraising each others work.
Again, thanks for the review.
cool man
this is a little too slide-showy for me, but pretty cool anyways. i like the snow falling on that girl. is that sinatra i hear?
thank you. and yes, it is indeed sinatra.
my gosh
very nice work. your scene angles and story work make this a very heart warming clip. definately pro work here.
Thanks man. Yeah, I really wanted to try out new camera angles. Usually alot of cartoons keep a flat perspective. It was fun too because most of the angles were a big challenge, especially the part where he runs into his father. Took me one total day to just do the planning and animatics for that scene. Thanks for the review man. I'll tell you that storyboarding definitely helped me plan out everything
I've been animating as long as I've been on Newgrounds, proudly bringing you super-okay animation right here for over 16 years! Let's collab!
