I still can't get enough...

...of the puffin!

Wow.

This is a really good animation. It's simple but clean, as well as familiar but original. Definitely team up with a voice person and throw in some background music to bring this to life :D

Nice

It kind of looks like you made this in paint, honestly, but it really kinda looks like it fits that way, so it's not bad. Also, it looks like you're pretty good at lip sync based on the part where the sun mouths the part "it's so intense!" Looks like a strong point of yours.

A weak point of the cartoon (besides time) would be that you used music that everyone has heard a million times. To make a popular song better with visual is always going to be tough to do, because it has to be obviously different from the person before you. I'd say just be more careful about choosing popular music. It's always better to go with the lesser-known stuff, since it allows you to be more visually creative.

Nice work! Hope it passes!

Cyranek responds:

Really? I always thought lip sync was the worst part of my animating

Wrong.

This is not MySpace. It's Newgrounds. Also, the audio portal is pretty cool. I've found good music in every genre there, and people use them all the time in animations and collabs.

I also would like to say that the quality of your cartoon was good, no doubt. Just very opinionated for no real reason. Also, in the world of spam, this might be gold. So I guess... mission accomplished?

Pop-Tart responds:

I don't feel like explaining the joke to you.

Nice work!

Really funny stuff, exactly like episode one only the way it should have gone LOL! Someone should make a parody game where it follows the Pokemon game, only with funnier dialog! You should write it and have someone program it for you :P

I experienced particularly low volume playback while watching this, even at full volume. That's the only thing wrong.

Interesting

What an interesting way to display the Pokemon universe. I'm impressed, I must say, and I feel like this could be a smart move in broadening the size of the audience. Kind of a darker side of Pokemon, also, which is always going to be the only reason Pokemon are cool.

Nice work! Get well soon!

Funny Stuff

Nice work, much better than the first! I did all the Facebook and Twitter whatever at the end, same user picture as here on NG. Lots of fun!

Fucking fantastic

I hardly ever give out tens, but I've now watched your cartoon five times and have decided that, uhm... your cartoons are better than my cartoons. You make the best cartoons, and your cartoons are better than everyone else's cartoons, so, uhm, I guess I fucked up, and now I can't meet Justin Beiber.

School VS Newgrounds

Here is the difference in the advice you'll be given at school versus here or from anyone else:

At school, while you are very good, expects that they will always have something to teach you, and so you will not be finished in there eyes until you've gotten a piece of paper that says so.

Newgrounds (and other amateur commentary) is always going to be a fresh surprise, whether it's good or bad. As long as you know not to blow up at someone who didn't like your cartoon (since you will never please everyone), you will always find a neat hint here and there about your strong and weak points.

Now that's kind of lumping them both into two categories (which is not fair because obviously there's a lot more to both), but I find that to be an adequate way to describe professionalism VS your peers and eventually your direct audience.

Well done on your cartoon, by the way. Can't forget to review the actual animation, LOL. I really like the timing of everything, and they seem to be a pretty good match. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel. Some advice that I'd like to give you would be to join a team who needs help where you are strong, which would be good fluid motion, proportions, and creativity. Oh, let's not forget: You know your way around a fight scene!

Nice work, my friend.

I'd have to agree with everamber210 on the slowness. I've run into that problem a few times with my own animations.

The best part about this cartoon is the little alien guy. I super enjoyed anticipating what he was going to do next, and he was fun with a hint of evil. I also find him to be realistic as far as motions and shading go. Well done!

WOW... Thanks dude, you jst made my night. That is what I really wanted to do with this animation is animate my character, and I'm glad you like him. Thank you for taking the time to post feedback, I really appreciate it.

I've been animating as long as I've been on Newgrounds, proudly bringing you super-okay animation right here for over 16 years! Let's collab!
